PracticeProof is a mobile + web AI app for music teachers who are tired of guessing whether students actually practiced. Students record short “proof clips” during the week; the app automatically tags tempo stability, rhythm accuracy, pitch issues (for monophonic instruments/voice), and repetition counts, then generates a simple weekly report for the teacher and parent. It’s not trying to replace a teacher or do magical full-song transcription—it focuses on measurable practice behaviors: consistency, time-on-task, and improvement trends. Teachers can assign micro-goals (e.g., 8 clean reps at 60 bpm) and the app checks the clip against the goal. Parents get a clear dashboard that reduces conflict at home. This is realistically valuable because it saves lesson time, reduces churn from “no progress,” and creates accountability without requiring expensive hardware or complex setup.
