PraisePulse is a mobile + web app for teachers to deliver consistent, specific positive reinforcement without turning class into a points casino. Teachers tap quick “micro-praise” templates aligned to classroom norms (on-task, collaboration, persistence) and optionally attach a short note. The app tracks who is being reinforced, for what behaviors, and how often—flagging bias patterns (e.g., same 5 kids getting all the praise) and “silent students” who are overlooked. It generates weekly, parent-friendly summaries focused on growth language rather than rewards. It also supports low-friction class incentives (group goals, mystery motivators) with guardrails to avoid bribery and over-reliance on extrinsic rewards. Realistically, this won’t replace PBIS platforms; it’s a lightweight layer for day-to-day teacher behavior, built for speed in the moment and reflection after class.
