PreceptPulse
PreceptPulse is a mobile app (with a simple web dashboard) for Buddhists who want mindfulness to show up in daily conduct, not just on the cushion. Users choose which precepts or personal vows they’re practicing (e.g., non-harming, right speech, sobriety, mindful consumption), then do a 30-second nightly check-in: what went well, where they slipped, and what triggered it. The app turns this into weekly reflections, pattern summaries, and a small set of practical “next time” intentions grounded in Buddhist ethics. It avoids gamified streak pressure and instead emphasizes honesty, repair, and gradual training. Optional anonymous “kalyāṇa-mitta circles” let users share one reflection per week and receive structured, non-advice support prompts. It’s realistic, lightweight, and designed for people who already meditate but struggle to integrate practice into work, relationships, and online behavior.
