PremortemKit is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-ons) that helps teams run fast, structured pre-mortems before launches, migrations, campaigns, or quarterly plans. It guides a facilitator through a 30–45 minute session: define the goal, assume failure, collect failure modes anonymously, cluster them, and force concrete mitigations with owners and due dates. The product is intentionally opinionated: it won’t let you leave with vague risks like “communication issues.” It turns each risk into a testable assumption, a leading indicator, and a mitigation task. It also includes a lightweight “risk register you’ll actually use” with reminders, escalation rules, and a post-launch review to score which risks were caught vs missed. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps summarize, de-duplicate, and rewrite risks into actionable mitigations, but humans still decide.
