PreprintPulse
PreprintPulse is a web app (with optional browser extension) that monitors arXiv/bioRxiv/medRxiv and publisher “online first” pages for topics, authors, labs, and keywords you care about. It clusters near-duplicate manuscripts, flags rapid follow-up versions, and highlights likely “hot” papers using transparent signals (download velocity, cross-posting, citation mentions, social chatter, and author track record). Users get a weekly digest, real-time alerts for direct overlaps with their draft abstract, and a lightweight “related work” board that exports to Zotero/Overleaf. This is an AI-assisted app: LLMs summarize and label papers, but the core value is reliable monitoring, de-duplication, and overlap detection. It’s built for researchers who don’t have time to constantly scan feeds yet can’t afford to miss relevant preprints or competitor moves.
