PrereqPulse

PrereqPulse is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that stress-tests a curriculum against prerequisite knowledge and local standards. Curriculum teams upload unit plans, lesson outlines, or a scope-and-sequence (Google Docs, PDFs, or CSV). The app builds a concept graph, flags missing prerequisite coverage, and highlights where cognitive load spikes (too many new concepts at once) or where skills are introduced without practice spacing. It then generates a “gap report” with concrete fixes: where to insert a mini-lesson, which concepts to spiral earlier, and which assessments won’t validly measure the intended standard. This is an AI-assisted app, but it stays grounded by requiring citations back to the provided materials and your chosen standards set. It’s not a magic curriculum writer; it’s a quality-control tool that reduces rework and prevents predictable student failure points.
