PressCal is a web + mobile companion for printmakers that helps you dial in repeatable results across different papers, inks, humidity, and press types. You log a quick “setup card” (press model, pressure marks, blanket stack, ink brand, paper batch, room humidity/temperature) and the outcome (too light, plate tone, over-emboss, uneven bite). Over time it builds a personal calibration library and suggests starting settings for the next run, plus a simple checklist to reduce avoidable mistakes. This is not magic: it won’t replace skill or make perfect prints automatically. The value is reducing the number of ruined test pulls and making your process more consistent—especially when you return to an edition weeks later or switch papers. Optional AI assists by spotting patterns in your logs and recommending likely adjustments based on your own history, not generic advice.
