PretendPatch is a mobile + tablet app for imaginative play that turns a living room into a “stage” with simple prompts, props, and soundscapes. Kids pick a theme (space rescue, vet clinic, pirate trial), assign roles, and the app feeds short, optional “plot cards” every few minutes to keep play moving without taking over. Parents can set time limits, content filters, and age ranges, then hit Record to capture audio-only “radio plays” (less screen fixation than video). After the session, the app generates a short highlight reel (title + cast + key moments) and a printable prop sheet (badges, tickets, clue cards). It’s designed to be low-friction: minimal reading, big buttons, and offline mode for travel. Monetization is a small subscription for new packs and family profiles, with a limited free starter set.
