PricePulse
PricePulse helps consumers understand their own buying behavior by tracking price changes and purchase timing for everyday items. Users scan a barcode or upload a receipt, and the app builds a personal “price history” across stores and brands, then flags when you’re buying at a personal high vs. a typical low. It also highlights common behavioral traps: buying right after payday, impulse add-ons, and “deal” items that weren’t actually cheaper than your usual. The AI layer generates simple, non-judgmental insights and predicts a reasonable next-best purchase window (e.g., “wait 10–14 days; this item usually drops”). It’s realistic: it won’t promise perfect price prediction, and it won’t cover every retailer. The value is in personal baselines and timing nudges, not universal price scraping.
