PrintProof

PrintProof is a mobile + web app that helps buyers, collectors, and small galleries reduce fraud when purchasing art prints online. Sellers upload a short “proof pack”: macro photos of paper texture, edges, signature, embossing, and any certificate details. The app guides capture with on-screen framing, lighting checks, and a simple ruler reference to standardize scale. An AI model flags inconsistencies (paper type vs. claimed edition, suspicious repeated textures across listings, mismatched signature patterns) and produces a shareable verification report for marketplaces, buyers, or insurers. It’s not a perfect authenticator—no app can replace expert provenance—but it meaningfully raises the cost of scamming and gives honest sellers a way to signal trust. Monetization: per-report fees, seller subscriptions, and lightweight API access for niche marketplaces.
