PrintProof

PrintProof is a desktop + web app that predicts 3D print failure risk from your slicer settings, STL geometry, and printer profile before you hit “Print.” You import a 3MF/G-code (or connect to your slicer export), select your printer/material, and get a clear risk score with specific, actionable fixes: support issues, thin walls, overhang angles, bridging spans, first-layer sensitivity, cooling conflicts, and likely warping zones. It also estimates the cost of failure (time + material) and suggests the cheapest change that reduces risk the most (e.g., brim width, orientation, support type, layer height, temperature/cooling tweaks). This is an AI-assisted app, but it’s not magic: it’s a pragmatic mix of rules + learned heuristics trained on real-world print outcomes. The goal is fewer failed prints, less tuning, and faster iteration for hobbyists and small print farms.
