PriorAuthIQ is a web app (with optional EHR-embedded view) that helps clinics generate complete, payer-specific prior authorization packets in minutes. Staff select the procedure/drug, payer, diagnosis, and patient context; the app outputs a checklist and a compiled packet: required forms, clinical rationale template, ICD/CPT/NDC mapping suggestions, and a “missing items” gap report (notes, imaging, labs). It also tracks submission status, deadlines, and appeal steps, and stores reusable templates by provider and specialty. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI drafts the narrative medical necessity letter and extracts key facts from uploaded PDFs, but humans approve everything. It’s not glamorous, but it targets a daily operational bottleneck that directly delays care and revenue. Expect heavy workflow integration work and constant payer rule updates.
