PriorAuthRx is a web app for outpatient psychiatry clinics that turns prior authorizations and step-therapy paperwork into a semi-automated workflow. It ingests payer requirements by plan, pulls the needed clinical facts from the EHR export or clinician-entered templates, and generates the exact documentation packet (notes, med history, failed trials, safety rationale) with audit-ready citations. It tracks deadlines, auto-fills common forms, and routes tasks to staff with a clear status board per patient and medication. An AI assistant drafts the narrative justification and appeal letters, but the clinician must review and sign—no “black box” clinical decisions. The goal is brutally practical: reduce time-to-medication, reduce staff burnout, and stop revenue leakage from denials. This is not a patient therapy app; it’s ops software that directly impacts access to psychiatric meds.
