PrivacyPin is a mobile app (with an optional desktop companion) that helps people confirm they have real, practical privacy in a physical place—hotel room, Airbnb, office, clinic room, or shared apartment—before discussing sensitive topics. It guides users through a fast “privacy check” workflow: scanning for suspicious Bluetooth/Wi‑Fi devices, flagging unexpected network cameras, and running a short acoustic test to estimate how easily voices leak through doors/walls. It then generates a simple, shareable “Privacy Receipt” (time, location, checks performed, and results) that can be shown to a partner, client, or manager to justify moving rooms or delaying a conversation. This isn’t spy-movie bug detection; it’s a realistic risk-reduction tool with clear limitations and plain-language explanations so users don’t get false confidence.
