PrivLogix

PrivLogix is a web app (with an Outlook/Gmail add-in) that helps legal teams prevent accidental attorney-client privilege waiver in everyday communications. It scans outgoing emails and attachments for common waiver triggers: forwarding chains to third parties, mixing business/legal advice, missing privilege headers, sending to the wrong domain, and attaching drafts with tracked changes or metadata. It then gives a clear, non-legalese warning and suggests fixes (remove recipients, split the email, add a header, convert to PDF, strip metadata, or route to counsel for review). It also creates an auditable “privilege hygiene” log for compliance and training, showing trends by department without exposing sensitive content. This is a combination traditional + AI app: deterministic rules for obvious risks, plus an LLM classifier for nuanced “legal advice vs business” detection and safer rewrites.
