ProbatePilot is a web + mobile app that guides families through the first 90 days after a death and the longer probate/estate settlement process. It creates a step-by-step plan based on location, asset types, and whether there’s a will or trust, then tracks tasks like death certificates, notifying banks, insurance claims, creditor notices, and court filings. Users upload documents, assign responsibilities to siblings/co-executors, and keep an audit trail of what was done and when. The app includes plain-English explanations, deadline reminders, and a “what to do next” dashboard. It’s not a law firm and won’t replace an attorney; instead it reduces chaos, missed deadlines, and family conflict by making the process transparent and organized. Optional paid add-ons include attorney-reviewed checklists and referral to local probate counsel.
