ProcureLens
ProcureLens is a web app (with optional mobile-friendly dashboards) that helps public agencies and watchdogs quickly understand what government is buying, from whom, and at what risk. It ingests procurement data (contracts, purchase orders, vendor records, amendments) from open portals or internal exports, normalizes it, and flags anomalies: repeated sole-source awards, suspicious price jumps, vendor concentration, split purchases, and late-stage scope creep. An AI layer summarizes long contracts, extracts key clauses (termination, renewals, deliverables), and generates plain-language briefs for non-procurement staff. Realistically, the hardest part is not the UI—it’s messy data, inconsistent schemas, and agencies that don’t publish clean feeds. The MVP should focus on 1-2 data sources and a small set of high-signal risk rules, then expand connectors and models as credibility grows.
