ProcurePulse is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) that gives companies a brutally clear view of software spend and vendor risk—without requiring a full procurement suite. It connects to finance systems and SSO to detect recurring SaaS charges, unused licenses, duplicate tools, and shadow IT sign-ups. It then routes lightweight approvals, captures contract basics, and flags renewals with a “do we still need this?” workflow. The AI layer summarizes invoices/contracts, suggests consolidation candidates, and drafts cancellation/renegotiation emails, but the core value is accurate detection and a simple approval trail. The product is intentionally narrow: spend visibility + renewal control for SMB/mid-market teams that can’t justify Coupa/Ariba. Expect messy data and imperfect matches; the MVP focuses on the 80/20 that saves real money quickly.
