ProofBinder is a web app (with optional desktop sync) for teams that must prove what a document was, when it changed, and who approved it—without turning into a full-blown enterprise DMS. It creates a tamper-evident “proof trail” for key files (policies, SOPs, contracts, compliance evidence) by hashing versions, capturing approvals, and generating shareable audit packets. Users can store files in their existing cloud drives (Google Drive, OneDrive, S3) while ProofBinder tracks versions, signatures, and required attestations. The product focuses on fast retrieval: search by obligation (e.g., SOC2 CC7.2), owner, system, or date, then export a single zipped evidence bundle with a timeline. It’s not trying to replace SharePoint/Box—just to make audits and incident reviews less chaotic and less dependent on tribal knowledge.
