ProofCarbon is a web app (with optional mobile capture) that helps mid-market companies produce defensible carbon inventories without hiring a full consulting team. It focuses on the unglamorous bottleneck: collecting, cleaning, and evidencing activity data (utility bills, fuel receipts, freight invoices, supplier statements) and mapping it to common reporting frameworks. Users upload documents or connect accounting/ERP exports, then the app extracts line items, flags gaps, and builds an evidence trail for each emissions figure. It generates a “ready-to-audit” package: calculations, emission factors used, assumptions, and source files, plus a change log. It won’t magically make emissions disappear; it makes reporting faster, less error-prone, and harder to challenge. The product is built for recurring monthly close, not a once-a-year scramble, and supports basic reduction tracking tied to projects (equipment upgrades, logistics changes, renewable contracts).
