ProofChain

ProofChain is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that adds trust and compliance layers to B2B marketplace purchasing. It lets suppliers publish continuously updated “proof packets” (business registration, insurance, certifications, factory audits, bank verification, sanctions screening, product test reports) that buyers can require before issuing POs. Buyers create policy templates (by category/country/risk level), route approvals, and track document expiry with automated reminders. The system supports escrow-style milestone verification for high-risk orders: shipment docs, inspection photos, and third-party lab results are attached to each milestone so procurement and finance can sign off quickly. An AI component extracts key fields from PDFs, flags inconsistencies (e.g., mismatched legal entity names), and highlights missing requirements, but humans still control final approval. The goal is reducing supplier fraud, compliance surprises, and internal procurement delays without forcing companies to change their entire ERP stack.
