ProofDrop

ProofDrop is a secure web app (with an optional desktop uploader) for government agencies, inspectors general, and oversight bodies to receive whistleblower tips with evidence that can actually hold up under scrutiny. It focuses on two hard problems incumbents often gloss over: (1) preserving metadata and integrity of files without exposing the source, and (2) giving investigators a defensible chain-of-custody from first upload to case closure. Whistleblowers get a Tor-friendly submission flow, a one-way anonymous mailbox, and clear guidance on what not to include. Investigators get triage queues, evidence hashing, tamper-evident audit logs, and exportable case packets for legal review. This is not a “social” reporting app; it’s a compliance-grade intake system designed to reduce junk tips, reduce retaliation risk, and reduce the chance evidence gets thrown out due to sloppy handling.
