ProofExpert is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams add-on) that helps companies find the right subject-matter expert fast—without relying on vague LinkedIn claims. Experts build profiles by connecting verifiable signals: GitHub repos, published papers, patents, conference talks, Stack Overflow, open-source contributions, and anonymized work artifacts. An AI matcher turns a problem statement into a ranked shortlist, but every recommendation is backed by “proof cards” showing why the person is relevant (citations, commits, talks, domain keywords, recency). Companies can run a paid 30-minute “micro-consult” with built-in scheduling, payments, and NDAs. The product focuses on high-trust expert discovery for technical and regulated topics (security, ML, data engineering, medical devices), where a wrong expert is expensive. Monetization: per-seat SaaS for teams plus a take rate on paid consults.
