ProofNest

ProofNest is a mobile + web app for secondhand furniture sellers and buyers that focuses on one thing most marketplaces still handle poorly: condition truth. Sellers create listings using a guided “proof flow” that captures standardized photos, short video, measurements, and a simple damage map. The app generates a Condition Card (shareable link) that buyers can trust across platforms, and it can be attached to listings posted on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, OfferUp, etc. Buyers can request a live 2-minute video walkthrough or a third-party “quick check” from local gig inspectors for high-value items. The goal isn’t to replace big marketplaces; it’s to reduce returns, haggling, and wasted trips by making condition verifiable. Monetization: seller-side upgrades (more Condition Cards/month), inspection fees, and optional escrow for higher-value transactions.
