ProofOfAge

ProofOfAge is a mobile + web app that helps people in age-gap relationships (and anyone dating) verify identity and age without exposing sensitive personal data. Users complete a one-time verification using a government ID scan and a short liveness check, then receive a shareable “Age Verified” credential with an age range (e.g., 30–34) and verification date—rather than a full birthdate. For age-gap couples, it also provides a consent-first “expectations checklist” (power dynamics, finances, family plans) and a private record of agreed boundaries that can be updated over time. The app is realistic about what it can’t do: it won’t fix judgment or compatibility, but it can reduce catfishing, underage risk, and costly misunderstandings. Monetization is straightforward: pay-per-verification, plus optional subscription for ongoing monitoring (re-verification reminders, scam alerts, and secure credential sharing).
