ProofOfSelf is a mobile + web AI app that helps people spot when they’re living for approval instead of their real values. It works like a private “authenticity audit” for your week: you log key moments (posts you made, meetings, dates, purchases, arguments), then the app asks short, slightly uncomfortable prompts to uncover motives (status, fear, belonging, avoidance). An AI model summarizes patterns like “you agree to things to avoid conflict” or “you post to look productive, not to share.” It then generates small experiments (e.g., say no once, share a draft, ask for what you want) and tracks outcomes. It’s not therapy, and it won’t magically fix your identity—it's a structured mirror that makes self-deception harder. The app is designed to be private-first with local encryption, optional cloud sync, and a strict “no public feed” policy.
