Users scan a product page, QR, or receipt and get a “Proof Score” based on traceable materials, certifications, supply-chain disclosures, repairability, and resale durability. The app pulls brand reports, certification registries, and marketplace data, then flags greenwashing patterns (vague “eco” language, missing scope-3 data, unverifiable sourcing). For items with limited public data, it offers a “Proof Request” template that pressures brands/retailers to provide specific documentation. It also tracks your wardrobe’s impact and suggests higher-proof alternatives in the same aesthetic/price tier. Realistically, it won’t have perfect coverage—many luxury brands hide data—so the product focuses on transparency grading and decision support rather than pretending to be an absolute truth machine.
