ProofPact

ProofPact is a mobile + web accountability app for people trying to reduce or quit alcohol/drugs who keep failing with “just track it” tools. Users set a clear weekly commitment (e.g., no drinking Mon–Thu, or max 2 nights/week) and choose a small stake (money or privileges) that gets released only when they submit simple proof check-ins. Proof can be a scheduled breathalyzer reading from a supported device, a short timestamped selfie check-in, or a sponsor/peer verification. The app focuses on frictionless compliance, not motivational quotes. It includes a private “pact circle” (1–5 trusted people), a crisis button that triggers a pre-written plan, and a weekly review that shows patterns and high-risk windows. This is not therapy and won’t replace treatment; it’s a practical accountability layer that many people actually stick with when willpower runs out.
