ProofPicket is a mobile + web app that helps animal-advocacy groups document, verify, and package evidence from protests, facility observations, and whistleblower tips without turning into a legal liability. Users capture photos/video with automatic time/location stamping, chain-of-custody logs, and tamper-evident hashing. Submissions can be routed to trusted org admins for review, redaction (faces/plates), and export into “evidence packets” for journalists, regulators, or attorneys. The app includes safety prompts (what not to do), consent/rights checklists by region, and secure messaging for coordinating volunteers. It’s not a magic “expose everything” tool—most claims won’t go anywhere without credible documentation. The value is making the documentation process consistent, defensible, and easy enough that volunteers actually use it, while reducing the risk of doxxing or sloppy handling that gets campaigns dismissed.
