ProofPile is a web + mobile app for creators and communities to publish user-generated claims with attached “receipts” (screenshots, links, docs, short clips) and a transparent verification trail. Instead of endless comment wars, each post becomes a structured dossier: claim, context, sources, and a timeline of edits. Community members can add supporting or contradicting evidence, and moderators can apply lightweight verification labels (e.g., “source verified,” “out of context,” “unconfirmed”). The app includes a browser extension to clip content from the web with metadata (URL, timestamp) and optional hashing to show files weren’t altered after upload. It’s not a fact-checking oracle; it’s a workflow tool that makes evidence-based discussion easier and faster. Monetization: creator/community subscriptions for private workspaces, moderation tools, and embeddable “proof cards” for newsletters and social posts.
