ProofPile

ProofPile is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) where communities build “evidence packs” around specific claims: screenshots, links, datasets, transcripts, and short summaries—each item labeled by source type and reliability. Instead of endless threads, contributors add structured evidence cards and vote on whether each card supports, contradicts, or is irrelevant to the claim. AI helps deduplicate submissions, extract quotes, generate neutral summaries, and flag likely low-quality sources, but humans make the final calls. The output is a shareable, versioned brief you can embed in newsletters, Discords, classrooms, or workplace docs. Moderation is community-run with clear rules and audit trails, so it’s harder to brigand than typical social feeds. Monetization is via paid workspaces for teams/creators, plus public community hubs that can be sponsored.
