ProofPocket

ProofPocket is a web + desktop app (browser extension + lightweight desktop client) for capturing, organizing, and retrieving “decision receipts” at work: the claim, the context, the supporting sources, and the final outcome. Users clip snippets from Slack, email, docs, tickets, and dashboards, then link them to a decision card with a clear owner, date, and confidence level. Later, you can search by question (“Why did we choose vendor X?”) and instantly see the evidence trail and what happened afterward. It’s not trying to be a full notes app; it’s a narrow knowledge-management layer focused on preventing repeated debates, lost rationale, and post-mortem confusion. AI assists by summarizing clipped evidence, extracting key entities (project, metric, stakeholder), and generating a one-paragraph rationale, but everything stays auditable with direct links back to originals.
