ProofPocket

ProofPocket is a mobile + web app that helps activists, journalists, and legal aid teams capture, verify, and organize evidence of human-rights abuses without creating new safety risks. The mobile app records photos, video, audio, and written testimony with automatic metadata sealing (time, location when safe), tamper-evident hashing, and offline-first storage for low-connectivity areas. Users can blur faces, remove sensitive metadata, and generate redacted “share packs” for media while keeping an encrypted original for legal teams. The web dashboard lets authorized organizations manage cases, chain-of-custody logs, and export bundles aligned to common documentation standards (e.g., incident summaries, witness statements, media files, and integrity proofs). This is not a magic “stop abuse” tool; it’s a practical workflow product that reduces lost evidence, messy handoffs, and credibility gaps that routinely kill cases.
