ProofPolish is a mobile + web app that helps jewelry owners document maintenance, condition, and ownership in a way insurers and jewelers can actually use. Users create an item profile with photos, receipts, appraisal PDFs, and serial/laser inscriptions, then follow guided “care check-ins” (cleaning, prong checks, servicing) with timestamped evidence. The app generates a standardized claim-ready packet (timeline, documents, before/after images, service history) and can share it securely with an insurer or jeweler via expiring links. An AI layer auto-extracts key fields from appraisals/receipts, flags missing documentation, and suggests a maintenance schedule based on metal/stone type and wear patterns. This is not a magic theft-prevention tool; it’s a practical documentation and workflow product that reduces claim friction and helps owners avoid denied/underpaid claims due to poor records.
