ProofPouch is a mobile + web app that helps secondhand sellers create credible, standardized “proof packs” for high-risk items (sneakers, streetwear, handbags, electronics). Instead of vague photos and trust-me descriptions, the app guides users through a short capture flow: required angles, close-ups of serials/tags, timed video, and condition checkpoints. It then generates a shareable link and a compact badge for listings on any marketplace. Buyers can view the proof pack, see a condition score, and verify that media wasn’t edited via basic integrity checks. Sellers get fewer “is this real?” messages and fewer returns/disputes; buyers get more confidence without paying for full third-party authentication. Realistically, it won’t beat marketplace-native auth programs for luxury, but it can win for mid-tier items where people want reassurance without extra fees or shipping delays.
