ProofPouch is a web + mobile app that helps small businesses capture, organize, and retrieve “proof” for every transaction: receipts, invoices, delivery confirmations, emails, and screenshots. Users forward emails, snap photos, or connect a bank feed; the app auto-tags items to a vendor, project, and transaction, then creates an audit-ready trail with timestamps and immutable logs. The AI layer suggests matches (e.g., “this receipt likely belongs to this card charge”), flags missing documentation, and generates a clean export package for accountants or tax authorities. It’s not a full accounting system—by design. It focuses on the painful gap between spending money and having defensible documentation when disputes, chargebacks, tax reviews, or internal approvals happen. Teams can request missing proof from employees with one-click nudges and track compliance by department.
