ProofPouch

ProofPouch is a mobile + web app that helps people document harassment, threats, and abuse in a way that’s actually usable later. It captures photos, video, audio, and written notes with automatic timestamps, location (optional), and tamper-evident hashing, then stores everything in an encrypted “case folder.” Users can set up a trusted contact and a lawyer/advocate share link that reveals only what’s needed, when it’s needed. The app includes a guided incident log (what happened, who, where, witnesses) to reduce missing details that make reports fall apart. It also offers a “panic upload” mode that silently backs up the last few minutes of captured media. This is not a magic safety app; it won’t stop harm in the moment. It makes follow-up action—HR complaints, restraining orders, police reports, asylum documentation—more credible and less chaotic.
