ProofPulse is a mobile + web AI companion for documentary and docuseries viewers who want to know what’s true, what’s exaggerated, and what’s missing. While you watch, you can scan a scene’s subtitle line (or paste a quote) and get a structured “claim card” that lists the claim, confidence level, primary sources, counterpoints, and whether the edit may be misleading (e.g., timeline compression, selective quotes). It also builds an episode timeline with citations so you can revisit key moments later. The app is realistic about limitations: it won’t magically “prove” everything, and it flags when sources are weak or disputed. Monetization is straightforward: freemium for a limited number of claim checks per week, with a subscription for unlimited checks, saved research boards, and exportable citation reports for students and journalists.
