ProofReserve

ProofReserve is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that helps users independently sanity-check an exchange or custodian’s claimed “proof of reserves.” It aggregates on-chain reserve addresses, monitors real-time balances, flags sudden inflows/outflows, and correlates liabilities signals where possible (e.g., published Merkle proofs, attestation reports, and user-reported withdrawal issues). The app produces a simple risk score and a plain-English explanation: what’s verifiable on-chain, what’s not, and what assumptions are being made. It also tracks historical reserve behavior so users can see whether an exchange consistently maintains buffers or repeatedly tops up right before attestations. This is not a guarantee of solvency; it’s a transparency tool that makes marketing claims harder to fake and helps users decide where to keep funds and when to self-custody.
