ProofShelf

ProofShelf is a web app (with a lightweight browser extension) for building shareable, citation-first collections around a topic: “best resources on X,” “research pack for Y,” or “reading list for Z.” Instead of saving links, users capture a structured “source card” with key claims, quoted evidence, publication date, author/org, and a credibility checklist (method, conflicts, primary/secondary, recency). Collections can be exported as a clean public page, a PDF brief, or a Google Doc-style report with footnotes. It’s not trying to replace your bookmarks; it’s for when you need to justify recommendations to a team, audience, or client. An AI assistant can suggest missing context (e.g., counterpoints, newer sources) and flag weak evidence, but users must approve everything. The product lives or dies on speed: capture in under 30 seconds, publish in under 5 minutes.
