ProofShelf

ProofShelf is a web app (with a browser extension) that turns company knowledge into citation-backed answers. Instead of another wiki people ignore, it focuses on “proof”: every claim must link to the exact paragraph in a doc, ticket, Slack thread, or policy page. Users can ask questions, browse topics, and see an evidence trail with freshness signals (last verified, owner, and confidence). A lightweight workflow lets subject-matter owners “verify” key answers on a schedule, and the system flags likely stale content when underlying sources change. It integrates with Google Drive, Confluence, Notion, Jira, and Slack, and supports role-based access so private content stays private. It’s an AI + traditional app: AI drafts answers and highlights citations; humans approve critical knowledge. The goal is fewer repeated questions, fewer wrong answers, and faster onboarding without pretending AI is always right.
