ProofThread

ProofThread is a web + desktop chat app for teams that are tired of Slack/Discord arguments that never resolve. Every claim in a thread can be tagged as a “statement” and linked to a source: a doc, ticket, screenshot, log snippet, or external URL. The app then auto-generates a living “Decision Card” that captures what was decided, why, who approved it, and what evidence supports it. AI helps by extracting key claims, suggesting missing evidence, and summarizing disagreements into options with tradeoffs. It’s not trying to replace your existing chat; it’s a focused channel for high-stakes discussions (incidents, launches, policy changes, architecture). Expect pushback: people hate extra process. The value only shows up when accountability and auditability matter.
