ProofTrail

ProofTrail is a web app (with optional desktop agent) that creates lightweight, audit-ready “work evidence” for remote and hybrid teams—without invasive screen recording. It automatically links outcomes (PRs, tickets, docs, deployments, approvals) into a weekly narrative per person and per project, producing a clean timeline you can share with managers, clients, or compliance. The goal is to reduce status meetings and “what did you do?” friction while protecting employee privacy. Teams connect the tools they already use (GitHub/GitLab, Jira/Linear, Google Docs/Notion, Slack, CI/CD) and ProofTrail generates a digest plus a searchable archive. Employees can redact items, add context, and export a client-facing report. Managers get project-level progress views and risk flags (stalled work, missing approvals) based on artifacts—not keystrokes. This is a combination traditional + AI app (AI for summarization and narrative generation).
