PropLedger

PropLedger is a web + mobile app for tracking physical production assets (props, set dressing, hero items, rentals) from prep through wrap. It replaces messy spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads with barcode/QR check-in/out, location history (truck, stage, set), condition photos, and accountability by department and person. The app generates rental return lists, loss/damage reports, and wrap reconciliation summaries that producers actually care about. It also supports quick “on-set requests” so the props team can log who asked for what, when it was delivered, and what’s still missing. This is not glamorous, but it’s a recurring, expensive problem: lost items, missed returns, and unclear responsibility. The MVP focuses on fast scanning, offline mode on set, and simple reporting—no bloated studio workflow promises.
