ProtoGuard

ProtoGuard is a web app (with optional CLI agent) that continuously validates your network’s real behavior against the protocols and standards you claim to run (TLS versions/ciphers, HTTP/2 vs HTTP/1.1, DNSSEC, SMTP auth, NTP, SNMP, BGP policy checks where applicable). It runs scheduled probes from multiple vantage points, parses handshakes/headers, and flags “protocol drift” caused by load balancers, CDN changes, firewall middleboxes, or rushed config edits. Instead of generic uptime checks, it produces evidence: packet-level summaries, negotiated parameters, and a standards-based pass/fail report mapped to internal policies (e.g., “No TLS 1.0”, “MTA-STS required”, “DNS must answer over TCP”). It’s not a magic AI fixer; it’s a compliance and reliability guardrail that reduces outages and audit pain by making protocol regressions visible early.
