ProvenanceX is a mobile + web app that helps collectors reduce the risk of buying fake or misrepresented luxury collectibles (art, watches, handbags, rare books, wine). Users create a “deal room” for an item by uploading photos, invoices, certificates, auction listings, and seller chat logs. The app uses AI to flag inconsistencies (metadata, serial formats, known counterfeit markers, price anomalies) and then routes the case to vetted human experts for a paid, time-boxed review. The output is a concise risk report: authenticity likelihood, gaps in provenance, recommended next steps, and a shareable summary for negotiation. This is not a magic authenticity oracle—it's a structured diligence workflow that makes it harder to get scammed and easier to walk away. Monetization: per-report fees, expert marketplace take-rate, and a subscription for frequent buyers.
