ProvenSnap

ProvenSnap is a mobile + web app for collectors, galleries, and auction consignors to create a defensible provenance packet fast. Users photograph an object, scan invoices/letters, and record a structured timeline (owners, dates, locations, restorations). The app generates a standardized “Provenance Dossier” PDF plus a shareable verification link for buyers, insurers, and auction specialists. It doesn’t pretend to magically authenticate art; instead it focuses on evidence quality: source grading, missing-gap flags, and tamper-evident logs. Optional expert review (paid) lets vetted specialists add signed statements and condition notes. The goal is to reduce deal friction and prevent the common failure mode of luxury transactions: weak documentation that kills buyer confidence at the last minute. It’s realistic because it sells workflow and documentation, not certainty.
