PulseBlocks
PulseBlocks is a mobile + desktop app that helps knowledge workers plan their day around ultradian rhythms (roughly 90–120 minute focus cycles). It builds a realistic schedule of “focus blocks” and “recovery breaks” using your calendar, task list, and a lightweight check-in of energy and mood. It’s not magic: it won’t make you a productivity superhero. The value is reducing self-inflicted burnout and decision fatigue by turning pacing into a default. The app nudges you to stop at the right time, suggests break types (walk, eyes-off-screen, snack, breathing), and tracks whether you actually recover. Over time it learns your personal cycle length and the times you reliably crash, then proposes guardrails (meeting windows, deep-work windows, and hard stop times). It’s an AI-assisted planner, but the core is behavioral design and calendar enforcement.
