PulseBoard
PulseBoard is a web + mobile classroom engagement check-in tool that gives teachers real-time, low-friction signals from every student: “I’m lost,” “I’m good,” “Too fast,” “Need a break,” plus quick micro-polls tied to the lesson. Students respond anonymously to peers but identifiable to the teacher, reducing embarrassment while still enabling intervention. The teacher view is built for speed: a single screen shows engagement heatmaps by class, by group, and by time, with one-tap actions like “re-explain,” “pair help,” or “quick recap.” It also auto-generates a short end-of-class summary (who struggled, which concept spiked confusion) so teachers can adjust tomorrow’s plan. This is an AI + traditional app: AI is used only for summarizing patterns and suggesting next-step prompts, not for grading or surveillance. Hardware is optional; it works on any phone or Chromebook.
