PumpGuard
PumpGuard is a mobile + web app for groundwater well owners and operators that monitors pump health using inexpensive clamp-on power sensors and optional pressure/flow inputs. It turns electrical signatures (amps, voltage, power factor, run cycles) into simple alerts: dry-run risk, declining efficiency, sand intrusion signs, check valve issues, and likely motor bearing wear. The app maintains a maintenance log, parts history, and generates a shareable “well health report” for landlords, HOAs, or regulators. It also includes a basic groundwater context layer: local drought status, nearby well depth ranges, and seasonal pumping guidance, but it doesn’t pretend to be a full hydrogeology model. This is a practical operations tool: reduce emergency callouts, avoid crop loss, and catch failures early. Hardware is BYO (supported list) to keep costs realistic and adoption easier.
